Lismore Arts Programme

Day off work today, so that I could attend the first meeting to discuss a potentially highly exciting move relating to the arts in Lismore.  Lismore Community Trust, Lismore Public Hall and Comann Eachdraidh Lios Mòr, along with a select few others, met to find out about the Creative Scotland funding programme.  Lots of wonderful ideas were exchanged, as we all learned a lot about the kind of arts programmes we could possibly bring to our little island.  We're now all looking forward to a public meeting to discuss things further, bringing in the thoughts of the entire island.   This will hopefully be followed, sometime in the not too distant future, by a diverse, inclusive, educational and high quality arts programme, to be held in the various venues on the island.  Watch this space!
